Dems Don't know Jack

Stolen, because I really like the original title.

This article oughta blow a hole in those who claim Dem's took just as much money from Abramoff as the Repub's did. Keep in mind that I'm not saying Dem's are innocent, but compared to the level of scandal and corruption that is now rapidly becoming visible within the Republican Party, *pish*, the Dem's look like angels.

From The American Prospect comes the news of a non-partisan study that proves "it’s highly misleading to suggest that the tribes's giving to Dems was in any way comparable to their giving to the GOP."

Indian tribes generally give money to Democratic candidates much for the same reasons women and other minorities do: because the base platform of the Democratic party tends to be of a more inclusive nature, one that usually (or should I say used to) presses for equal rights and protections for all Americans. And, well, since the various Indian tribes here in America have repeatedly gotten the short end of the stick, especially by Republican's, it's no surprise they would unanimously support more liberal candidates.

My point being, when one sees Indian tribes giving two or three times the amount of money to Republican's as they are giving to Democrat's, its cause for concern and should raise red flags all over the place.

Which is why Abramoff finally got "busted."*
